Rebecca and Dustin Krugh Wedding, September 3 2017.
Michael here. I first met Rebecca and Dustin at a shoot I did at Old Sled Works in Duncannon Pennsylvania. It's an antique mall but features a vintage soda fountain and arcade that is dream location for photographs for those who love the mid-century period. Rebecca was the subject and Dustin came along in support.
Later in the year Rebecca and Dustin visited my studio to take part in a fun photo session themed around the movie A Christmas Story. This time Dustin took part and it was positively hysterical as we shot and he token the role of Ralph from the movie. Through the boudoir-pinup studio we have in Pottsville Pennsylvania we work with hundreds of clients each year and it's always awesome when a significant other comes along in support or takes part in a couple's session.
In the summer of 2016 Rebecca and Dustin asked me to be the photographer for their wedding and an engagement session. Some of those images would then be used for their "Save the Date" invitations. Keeping with their style it was a cookout theme. Again it was an incredibly fun session.
Just over a year from their engagement session the couple's big day arrived. It was a special event as not only had they honored me by asking me to capture their memories but I was a guest as well. Having worked with them several times, becoming friends and having mutual friends in attendance I knew personally made the day memorable. The location was beautiful and the weather, which was potentially not going to be kind, finally cleared and provided a stunning, perfect day. Thank you so very much Rebecca and Dustin, I am very proud to have been part of your history, in ways more than just your ceremony. Michael
